Meadows Display Cases can provide cases to be used as "memory boxes" in dementia and Alzheimer units. Current trend in facilities housing these patients are making this type of memory trigger a necessity.

We can supply quantities as few as a dozen for smaller homes, up to hundreds for larger units or network facilities.

Each of our cases is handmade, and available in three wood types. We use natural wood stains on oak and walnut and clear sealer on cedar.

OAK CEDAR WALNUT

Federal and/or state regulations generally require plexiglas or safety (tempered) glass in cases that are used in public areas. We offer either selection, and recommend tempered glass for long term durability.

Our standard cases have hinged, glass locking front doors, to provide easy access for changes in content. All cases are keyed the same, eliminating the need for separate key identification.

The interior depth of the standard cases is 1 1/4." We can provide two types of interior treatments:

Felt can be glued to the back of the case, providing a firm surface with full use of the interior depth
case can be custom fitted with a one inch thick layer of soft foam, which can be covered in felt.

With either treatment, memorabilia items can be easily attached to the felt using velcro, tacks or straight pins. Felt is available in your choice of five colors.

Production time in our shop is generally about two to three weeks. This can vary seasonally, and according to our work load. We prefer to use UPS for all our shipping needs. Ground service to anywhere in the continental US is one to five working days.
